24h Poker entered the online market in 2002. After a joint venture with the Unibet poker room back in 2004, the B2B Poker Network was introduced. Since late 2006, you are able to play 24h games not only on B2B, but also on the Boss Media Network using the same funds for both rooms. 24hPoker Holding AB, 24hPoker.com and Epicture Ventures Ltd, the three mother companies, are located and licenced in Malta.

This poker room will find many friends among the travelling poker player community because 24h offer a download version of the software and a flash poker room to play in your browser. The non-download version is exactly the same and allows you to play poker from any computer in the world. 24h's poker lobby is very simple with only the basic features such as the cashier, support and an info/rules page. Note: All poker games played on 24h are in Euros. The sportsbook is accessible from here as well as the Wagerworks Flash casino (coming soon).

While you wouldn't call 24h a large poker room, between 4000-8000 players gather here every day. The NLHE section is quite busy, some 100 or so active tables can be found any time of day. Limits range from 0.02/0.04 to 50/100 with just about an equal amount of tables at each level except for the highest which rarely run. There are not as many limit tables going, usually just a few from 0.25/0.50 to 3/6. Omaha PL action is really good for a room this size, you will almost always find 15-30 full tables from as little as 0.02/0.04 to the more challenging 10/20 ones. A couple of 5-card draw tables usually runs, mostly lower stakes but also the occasional 25/50 game. You won't find any regular Stud games here but variations of it (Sökö, Telesina & Americana), do run every now and then. All in all, an excellent selection of ring games for a room this size.

24h has a good selection of multi-table tournaments, the majority of them in the 1-20 range. While mostly NLHE ones, several 5CD, 2-7TD, Sökö and Omaha tournaments do run on a daily basis. Rebuys and guarantees are the most popular MTTs but there is also a good number of turbos and freezeouts. A whole bunch of satellites to bigger events run every day and for the recreational player there are around 20 daily freerolls with tiny prize pools to choose from. STTs traffic is rather good, some 80 or so tables was in full swing when I stopped by on a thursday around noon. While mostly in the 1-50 range and almost exclusively NLHE, a few 5CD and Omaha PL STTs run every now and then. Many SnGs are heads-up matches and turbos which I personally like.

Promotions And Support

24h Poker's signup bonus is big in terms of money,100% to 400 max, but quite difficult to clear. For every raked hand, regardless if you have contributed to the pot or not, 1 VIP is awarded and you will have to earn 200 VIPs for every 10 worth of bonus money. Combined with VIP Cashback (see webpage for details), trying to clear this bonus is only recommended for players above 1/2, others really needn't bother. Yearly reloads are offered but again, they are not for the micro-low stakes player.

24h's support is very good. There is no telephone service but all emails are answered the same day, usually within a couple of hours. The 24h staff are generally friendly helpful and usually have the answer to all your queries.

For deposits, use Neteller, Moneybookers, VISA/MasterCard, paysafecard, WebMoney or Cash-A-Code. Withdrawals to e-wallets are fairly slow, 1-2 weekdays on average. Cashouts to bank account/VISA are fast, somewhere around 3-4 working days which is better than most other poker rooms.

I like 24h Poker. Traffic is not as high as on PokerStars and [Full Tilt Poker] of course but there's still something about it that appeals to me. A good variety of games, a fair amount of MTTs & SnGs, fast and friendly support plus speedy cashouts to bank accounts should be enough good qualities for almost any poker player. 24h Poker comes recommended by this humble person and gets 4 stars - just.
