The embattled Everleaf online poker network (see previous report) suffered another loss this week when one of its most popular skins, Minted Poker.eu, jumped ship and headed off to the little-known Plutos poker network, offering tempting inducements to players in what appears to be an attempt to duplicate its player base rather than transfer players from the Everleaf player base.

Although there has been no official statement from the operator, reliable reports indicate that the PlayersOnly and SportsBook poker rooms on the Merge poker network have segregated their players from the main Merge pool, presumably in an attempt to improve the "poker ecology" by encouraging more recreational player action and less "shark" activity.

Addition to budget bill progressed in preliminary 2014 budget by a House vote of 122 to 29.
The attempt by 18 Massachusetts Representatives to attach an online poker legalisation amendment to a budget bill (see previous reports) is showing encouraging signs of progress, with the state House voting 122 - 29 on the preliminary budget containing the amendment (number 365).
