Source: http://www.bluffed.netIt may have seemed like a long time coming, but new social poker site is almost ready for launch Calgary-based Infiniti Poker has opened up for beta testing in a move that may signal its imminent real money launch, bringing what its owner Michael Hadjuk claims is a new business model to the sector. Hadjuk's socially-oriented concept is to combine the popular social gaming and networking model with a socially responsible 'gaming for good' commitment through associate Profit 4 Purpose. How that is going to be achieved has yet to be detailed by Hadjuk, but speaking broadly it appears to involve helping to provide sustainable funding for 'social business enterprise endeavours that benefit humanity.' Infiniti has already started building a professional team under the captaincy of Canadian pro Gavin Smith, the WPT's player of the year back in 2005 and a WSOP bracelet holder.
