PADDY POWER BEEFS UP MANAGEMENT TEAM

New Operations and Information managers appointed

The online and land gambling group Paddy Power plc has announced senior management appointments designed to beef up the company's management team as growth continues.

William Reeve (39), the co-founder of LOVEFiLM.com, has been appointed Head of Operations, a new role for Paddy Power, effective September 5th 2012. He will oversee Technology, Risk & Trading, HR and Corporate Strategy. Responsibility for strategy within business units and new geographies will remain under existing functional heads.

Fin Goulding (51), the former CTO of last minute.com, has been appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) effective June 18th, with responsibility for leading the technology functions for the Paddy Power's business channels in the UK, Ireland and Italy, reporting to Reeve.

Reeve was co-founder of LOVEFiLM.com, where he filled various roles including Managing Di rector, President and COO from the company's inception in 2003 until 2008, by which time it had become Europe 's largest online film rental service. Prior to LOVEFiLM, he co-founded Fletcher Research in 1997, which became the UK 's largest internet research firm and was subsequently acquired by the NASDAQ listed company, Forrester Research.

He is currently a non-executive director of Paddy Power and will resign his directorship upon joining the company. He is also Chairman of Graze.com and has served as a non-executive director of a number of high growth internet companies, including Zoopla and Secret Escapes. He is a former strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and a graduate of University College, Oxford.

Fin Goulding was CIO and Vice President of the Global Development Centre of Sabre Holdings Argentina, having previously been CTO of last minute.com (Sabre's consumer internet business). Prior to Sabre, Fin was Senior Vice President of Technological Solutions at VISA in San Francisco and held a number of senior technology roles in companies such as First Data Europe, HSBC Bank and Nat West Bank in Europe.
