Source: http://www.bluffed.netTough opponents on final table David 'Bakes' Baker (25) has emerged victorious from a tough final table in the World Series of Poker event 32 - $10,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. Among those arrayed against him on the final table were heavy hitters like Phil Hellmuth, John Monette, Phil Ivey, Dan Kelly and Abe Mosseri, boasting an impressive number of WSOP bracelets earned by at least six of the final tablers. When Paul Sokoloff was sent to the exit late Monday night the scene was set for a noteworthy heads up featuring Baker and John Monette, fresh from winning a bracelet earlier in this year's tournament (see previous report). Baker was clearly intent on capturing his second WSOP bracelet and was not disappointed, besting his talented rival and claiming the bracelet and the main prize of $451,779. Monette's runner up check was for a useful $279,206, making this year's WSOP even more profitable for the young pro. The event attracted 178 players, building a prize pool worth $1,673,200. Other final table pay-outs included: Paul Sokoloff $183,784 Phil Hellmuth $134,056 Phil Ivey $99,739 Abe Mosseri $75,511 Matt Waxman $58,093 Dan Kelly $45,360 Related News Tags: Wsop Poker News index » JUST WHAT THE (POKER) DOCTOR ORDERED!24th May, 2013 at 10:24:37
