Pay a small premium and insure that you don't lose out, says new company

Poker tournament fees can now - at least to some extent - be protected following the launch of a new service for players by Las Vegas-based Bubble Protection.com.

The new company offers online poker players the opportunity to insure their tournament entry fees against being lost On the Bubble, and has already signed up some impressive operators such as PokerStars, Party Poker and iPoker Networks, although its offer unfortunately does not at this time extend to US players.

For players wishing to buy bubble protection, the online bubble is 10% of the field. Players can purchase protection on their tournament buy-in and poker site fees for "a modest premium", says a company spokesman.

Any player buy-in and tournament site fee insured by Bubble Protection will be paid back to the player's account upon finishing in the bubble, with instant verification and settlement of claims. The player doesn't need to make a claim, or engage in any additional money requests. Player accounts are settled automatically.
