Betonline launches internet poker using its own software

The latest arrival on the US-friendly online poker scene is part of the BLS International group and can be found on the company's Betonline.com website.

The company's affiliate manager, Simon Eaton, has not identified the no-download software, instead claiming that his company has bought the product outright for use in the new venture.

Betonline is headed by Clive Archer and is primarily a ASI-powered sports book enterprise, carrying a B+ rating from Sports Book Review. The company, at that time titled Best Line Sports, has been online since 2001 and originally operated from Costa Rica, switching to Panama City in 2004 and acquiring the Betonline brand.

The site also offers online casino action, powered by a mix of Betsoft, DGS and GTS software.
