Florida court acknowledges assistance to investigators given by money launderer

German national Michael Olaf Schütt (29), who was arrested during investigations into online-gambling payments to players (see previous InfoPowa report) has been given a comparatively light sentence by a Florida court which recognised his assistance to Federal investigators following his arrest.

Duhamel beats Racener in fast final table

Jonathan Duhamel (23) a player from Quebec became the first Canadian ever to win the WSOP main event early Monday evening, collecting a winners bracelet and $8,944,310.
